yankees have some bullpen depth even without Robertson.  Adding Wilson helps.  They have McCann and some depth at catcher, so this was a decent move.  I don't know what their plan is for the middle infield, but Gardner and Ellsbury are a very nice combo for that stadium.  The problem they have is fighting the far end of the aging curve.  They'll get good use out of Ellsbury and Gardner, but year after year, they have to hope that Tex, A-Rod, Beltran, even McCann stay healthy, Kuroda doesn't skip town, and CC bounces back some.  If Beltran could play the OF, then you could DH A-Rod, bring Headley back and just go with gloves in the middle infield.

Robertson to the Tigers and Soriano to the yankees (to mentor/ set up Betances) makes some sense.

Braves might be looking at going through a rebuilding process in 2015-16, including trading pieces like Upton and Heyward:

damn the yankees are gonna go on a huge spree in a few years, when they lose the sabathia and tex contracts, followed by the Arod one. this happens to be around the same time stephen strasburg hits FA at the age of 28.....

edit: and beltran, they are gonna start losing a lot of that dead weight and i cant imagine they dont make some mammoth FA run. I expect to see Giancarlo Stanton and Stephen Strasburg in pinstripes come 2017.

I'd give up a nice package for Heyward.

I don't think he really fits on the Nats. Unless we plan on moving one of Harper/Werth/Zimmerman in short order.

If they wanted to do an offense defense swap, then they can have Cespedes.

To wear to the 2015 WS? Oh, that's been done.

If they give him a NTC Imma pull the trigger on an authentic Stanton jersey.

Does he have a clause in this contract or the last covering  PA Turnpike tolls?  Have they named a rest stop after him?

LOL I give AJ credit, he's losing I think around $4 million by turning down the players option he had with the Phillies and going with a team he'd rather play for.

There will be a full no trade, however, the Marlins will have an opt out clause.

Who is his agent?

He's represented by Wasserman Media Group, so probably Arn Tellem

Just needs to double his power and he'll be right there with Stanton.

I hope he can find a Fisterian potential which he can tap into, though that will be a challenge in the Homer West.

Stanton deal seems quick. He hasn't hit major league pitching since the the injury, and Conigiliaro never recovered.
