And even if something drops in LF, you know every play at the plate is gonna be interesting. I mean crap Bryce nearly threw out Johnson last night on a sure double.

Even if he doesn't get on the roster today, wouldn't this confirm that they'll find a way to call him up before September, so he could be used in the playoffs if necessary? I don't think Rizzo would do this if he wasn't ready.

Williams says Taylor was best option to be called up because he can play center field (to give Span a day off soon) and right (for Werth).
