Did they ever reveal why Roark jumped up from 5th to 2nd instead of Fister?
A combination of
1. Outstanding scouting,
2. Extensive pre-game planning by Matt Williams and his coaches,
3. Good results from player biorhythm analysis and
4. Predictions by a reliable Crystal Ball and Palm Reader,

all determined that the Nationals would score 5 runs in the first inning off Garza, knocking him out of the game with only one out.  It made sense to use our #5 pitcher in that gift of a situation.  Plus, the coaches and players wanted 50% off pizza on Sunday for Span's Bobblehead Day.

What if we end up tied with the braves and have to play one game to decide who wins the division while the other's season is over. Who starts?

Obviously our ace.

I would be comfortable with either Fister or ZNN on the mound.

I wouldn't want Strasburg based on this year so far.

Taylor Jordan is not ready for that kind of pressure.

To keep him from pouting they can just tell him that he is being put on ice for the opener of the playoff series.

Whoever is up in the rotation

It was rhetorical, meaning if you had a choice.

Fister or Roark.
