I'm not a true Nats fan because...

I figure this thread can be one to be used by people that ARE Nats fan but for some reason(s) have not been as up to speed as they could/should be.

Personally the World Cup has garnered a lot of my attention, paired with the fact I became obsessed with trading beer I've lost some perspective on the Nats.  I used to know the AA system as well as injuries to the Nats players, who was raking and who was slumping.  I do still watch the games daily, just not as closely as the zealots on here.  I know Spidey, can I call you Spidey?, I'm NANF.  Hopefully with an incredibly stocked fridge and once the WC passes I'll be back in love with the Nats.

P.S. they have been hotter since I've stayed away from the site, so you all may wish me to stay away longer.  Just saying.

I'd chant "HELL NO, WE WON'T GO!" but we all know that those of us who aren't true fans will leave when prompted anyway.

I haven't seen a Nats game since the first week of June, other than a few pitches yesterday afternoon, because we were on vacation in Florida and had no way to watch them, then upon our return the College World Series was the higher priority (applying Old Chelsea's hierarchy that postseason trumps regular season, especially when it's the championship round). I guess after the USA–Germany game I'll be back to watching the Nats except if there's a conflict with a USA game or with the finals.

I watch or listen to every game, but I've bailed on the GDTs due to the overwhelming emo-ness.
