Why would you not bunt your #8 hitter??

Because that was our pinch-hitting "stud", paid to "drive in runs"

Edit: oops, they were so busy talking about Dobbs I got it wrong

Clippard should not pitch against the Braves especially against this part of the order.  Use Storen in the 8th.

Let the home plate umpire do his job or else use electronic balls and strikes. Reviews and turning the umps are slowing the slow national game down enough. Just MO

mat williams does not like the bunt and small ball. i wonder if thats the reason the nats do not seem to not win many close games

He didn't give up runs with runners on base. Nor did he throw 7 straight fastballs to a fastball hitter and whine to the media that he didn't like the way the game was called.

If we lose this game, it's my fault.  I wasn't going to post in the GDT while we were leading and I forgot.  Gregg Dobbs batting and Clippard pitching against this part of the order forced me to speak.

I'm satisfied with reviews of plays at the plate for the home plate ump. Hate to see them blow those calls. I still kinda like the human element.

Gregg Dobbs is a waste of space. Get another BP pitcher or bring Tyler Moore back up.

And oh good, Clippard will get a chance to face his daddy Jupton.

Gone as soon as Harper comes back.

Harper won't be back for at least a week.  That means we're essentially playing with 24 player until then.
