Their hits carry out, but not ours.

I hope Milone goes complete game shut out. The Nats deserve the humiliation.

No one in this organization every says they're embarrassed about how this team has played.  This was an embarrassing performance tonight and someone should admit it.

"Desmond still playing hard down 7-0".

Probably just trying to pad stats for contract talks, that worthless freak.

Espinosa is terrible.

Is that 4 called strike threes tonight on the inner half?

With the strikezone Milone had tonight, we weren't going to win this game and that call was just rubbing it in.

Glad our resident O's fan sacrificed himself by starting the GDT tonight.

How do I redeem myself after striking out? Better commit an error.

freak this defense.

I hope so, because if that's the case I'm probably not far from being called up to the big leagues.

They showed up at the ballpark, but apparently not ready to play. Fister looks rusty. He's a sinker ball patcher getting outd on long fly balls. He'll be ready next time.

The hitters? Off timezone and maybe some of them partied on the trip?

okay, let's hope the Nats can give us something to cheer for tonight after the Wizards' collapse.

So how's this working out for you?

Detwiler vs. Norris

This is incredible!  These were strike calls WITHOUT EXCEPTION for Milone.

Eh, sucks about the run, and he was shaky. But at least Detwiler looked better, however slightly.

I'm just worried only getting trotted out during blowouts is going to completely throw off Detwiler's confidence and enthusiasm.

Has to be the worst offensive showing of the year for the Nats. Lackluster effort.

Removing Det after a bloop and a bouncer thru the infield did not make sense to me.  The Nats are not coming back tonight and Det could have thrown another inning.  Why waste any bullpen pitches the first game of a six game road trip?

Did u watch the Phillies series among others...r offense has sucked all year...a combined bunch of impatient underachievers!! This team is a joke defensivley and offensively and we will continue to watch Williams trot out the same lineup...every night!!!! This team is offensivley challenged...PERIOD!! This team has one pure hitter on the team....Rendon!

Yeah, agree. I think bullpen management is the most important thing a manager can do, and I'm not a fan of Matt's handling so far.
