Jordan could have done that I think.

No doubt. The only outs he was able to record were because he faced the 8th hitter and the pitcher.  :hang:

That was idiotic. Everyone knew that was going to happen. Detwiler shouldn't be allowed to face RH hitters. He needs a change of scenery. Trade him in the offseason.

Bad baseball.  On 3-2, he should get a pitch outside of the strike zone, not down the middle.

Det doesn't have good stuff. His fastball is epic hittable and his location sucks. And he has no command of his curve, the same it's been since he was drafted.

Detwiler is not good. He really has no purpose on this team. Dump him. He has not taken well to the bullpen role. He clearly doesn't want to be there and it shows.

Gyorko is going to crush one if he leaves it down the middle.

Det is just nibbling off the plate. Pitching afraid.

Lucky they only scored 1. Terrible pitching. A shame we gave up offensively after the 1st inning. Kennedy is dogcrap, can't do anything.

lucky to escape that inning with only one run given up. Gyorko bailed him out.

I didn't see any of the game before this but Carp made it sound like Taylor got a lot of ground out and weak pop ups.

Also I do understand that is Carp's interpretation of how he was doing.

McLouth just missed a hanging curve ball. The Nats' offense is pitiful. So inconsistent.
