Rough line, but his FIP was 3.23. I still believe it would have been a solid start if the defense didn't screw him.

I'd rather watch a marginally talented team that grinds, plays hard and smart and finishes somewhere close to .500 after making things exciting for awhile in late august/sept.  If i hear any more about how good this staff, lineup or bullpen is i'm gonna fn puke.

Fister, Ramos, Zimmerman, Span...all still out.

I'll reserve judgment on this team until they all return, provided we have not been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention by then...
This.  Errors or not, this is not the Nats team that any of us envisioned would be playing just 16 games into the season.  Look at the starting lineups the past few games:  McLouth, Leon, Espinosa, Frandsen, Lobaton,  Moore.  That is a .500 team type of lineup which unfortunately is what you are when so many of your bench players are forced into a starting role.
