I'm not feeling good about Gio tonight. No, SF didn't hijack my computer.

I never feel good about a pitchers first start after being on the DL.

The Nationals routinely, including this season, make those pitchers look like Hall of Famers.  I expect the same from the Astros tonight.

Especially one who got rocked in A ball during his rehab starts and couldn't throw strikes.

Both the Marlins and Braves lose home series to bad teams. :hysterical:

Nats must win tonight to open up biggest division lead in a long time.

I feel like the Astros are the type of team to beat up on a struggling pitcher returning from injury like Gio. Hope he's sharp but I fear for the worst.

The red-hot Phillies are suddenly only 4.5 games out of 1st place. :nervous:

That's a bold statement.

Feldman dominated us last year at Nats Park. He is awful though. Will they do anything vs him?

If we win tonite we go into that series with the Braves 1.5 ahead. Just a series split keeps us ahead and our schedule is not that terrible for the rest of June/ July. We have the cubs for 6, the Rockies, The phillies who are probably going on a run now but will have cooled off a bit by the time we see them and the marlins. All I am really worried about in that stretch is the brewers who are playing over their heads this year. But if the plan stays as is Bryce should be back and Ramos...

Posted in another thread but want to make sure I get everyone riled up.

"We're going to go into D.C. with a little bit of a chip on our shoulders," Doumit said. "This wasn't a good series. It left a bad taste in our mouths, but we're going to go take it out on the Nationals."

That's freaking bold. I hope the Nats don't bend over like they usually do for the braves.

This is the worst first place team ever.

If the Nats stay at even a decent level they'll walk away with the division.

The division sucks this year...90 wins takes it.
