I don't how this at bat will play out, but I trust Rendon up there more than any other nat with a runner in scoring position.

Well, if you can't score runs, the next best thing is to make them work

tough break for Rendon, borderline pitch, but some great ab's that inning.

Stupid bunt attempts do have precedence:

Quote
How dominant was Henry Rodriguez on Sunday afternoon? Let’s put it this way: After Atlanta Braves catcher David Ross swung through two fastballs clocked at 100 and 101, respectively, he squared up for an 0-2 bunt. He then fouled off a 101-mph fastball for strike three.

You would rightfully be blasted by every baseball analyst in history for walking in the tying run.

And every baseball analyst would be wrong because the normal laws of baseball don't apply when the Braves play the Nationals.  Somehow, somewhere, some way the Nationals are going to do something wrong and the Braves are going to win the game.

Again, it's not like two other teams playing.  I've abandoned the notion that it is.  I've abandoned all hope.

Oh look, someone not acting like a nag and pulling the ball out from the padding.

32 pitches against Wood last inning. Normally if you get over 20 there's trouble. Nats scored zero.

And now the Braves will score at least two.

It's funny how many people defended Upton in a debate that never would have happened if he picked up the ball.

Yep. Call can't go both ways. Frandsen just showed the hypocrisy of the ruling.

Exactly  ...  and that's why he had to play it.   NY won't call that "lodged" again.

TJ got a bit lucky, but yup, 1-1 going to the late innings.

Fantastic composure from Jordan to limit it to just one run. Braves usually would take the lead there.

Even if they did.  Regardless of the ruling, Frandsen showed an OF should play a ball he's capable of playing.

I know asking for two runs in one game is a lot to ask, but boy it would sure be nice.
