If you like chocolate and you like beer then this is pretty tasty. The chocolate is in your face with nothing subtle about it. While it's good it's not something to keep in the regular rotation.

Founders has more subtle (and probably better from an ingredient quality - both beer and chocolate) stuff

Molson Coors just launched its first CBD beer in Colorado. It's been in Canada a couple of years already.

I saw this and curiosity got the best of me.  It was good, not great, but I have been craving it all day...

Seems like "cocktail" beers are all the rage, doesn't it.

Sea Quench is really good.  There is some sea salt in there that nicely cuts the acidity.

Been drinking the Great Lakes Brewery's Christmas Ale on tap at CCSP this week, which is really nice.  Also had a can of Founders All Day IPA this evening at home because I had some f'ng sense to not blow off the rain to sit on a patio with open windows.

I can't deal with sours, but you SeaQuench lovers can take comfort in its touted ability to help you recover from workouts.

Quote
The idea behind SeaQuench, says Sam Calagione, founder of the Milton (Del.) based brewery, was “to brew the most objectively thirst-quenching beer Dogfish Head has ever brewed.” The result is a mash up between three German beer styles—Kölsch, Berliner Weisse, and Gose—plus black lime and sea salt.

The beer is surprisingly salty. It has about 10 times the amount of sodium as rival active-lifestyle brand Michelob Ultra (100 milligrams per 12 ounces, compared to 11), and its average mineral content, which includes other electrolytes like potassium, is about three times that of Michelob Ultra, and twice as much as Gatorade. That might turn off some connoisseurs, but the added electrolytes are less for taste and more for their physiological effect.

there's a social distance joke in this somewhere, but yes, a brew or two with you would be good.  Comparing the Red Porch and CCSP would be a fun experiment and research project.

I know he wrote that the Phillies lost $2 billion in 2020. And then had to change it to $145 million.
