Any least I have the day off so I will die at home.  Today was my day off so I will get another day off this week.

I really appreciate the storm waiting until Tuesday, thus giving me at least two extra days away from the office.

depends on if they remembered to unpack the shovels this year or not. :)

The latest radar is showing around a foot for southern NJ/Delaware, potentially with thundersnow and blizzard conditions.

CC is still dry if you want to do a stealth strike for your lap top.

Uh, bro, I'm way past that. I've already drove in, grabbed my laptop, lifted for an hour, and driven home.

This is the downside to working from home.  On the other hand, not having to drive or be packed into the metro the rest of the time is a pretty good tradeoff.

Reminded me of the old Army ad, "We do more before 9 AM than most people do all day."

I don't think I've seen a sunrise (except from 38,000 feet) for at least a decade  :P

you could always install the thing they have in Beijing:

The smog is so bad that's the way they watch the sunrise.

We have street accumulation starting in E. Loudoun.   It's heading SSE according to the Weather Channel.   It's comin' your way.    We have medium sized flakes falling at a pretty good rate.   May have to make my first snow cleaning pass on the porch/deck soon.

smog makes for nice sunrises and sunsets as long as it's not too thick.  All that soot.   I remember my old seats at OPACY in the 3d deck behind home plate, watching the sun drop behind the ozone.  Pretty, in a Baltimore sense.

Remember that underground fire near the stadium that burned for a week?  There was that strange bluish-green smoke hovering over the whole area.  John Waters must have loved it.

Ain't got time for fat kid food. Bad enough biking is out for the rest of the week.

Starting to snow hard in Oakton.

Yea, okay. Simply not willing to kill myself where I can't get an ambulance to come and get me. Or my wife.
