That could become the most face-palming idea ever.  Or it could be amazing.

I was thinking today... I would love if some company, like wow, just quadrupled it's staff and decided to create a game that was life like numbers wise. What do I mean? I mean create worlds that have towns whose populations are ACTUALLY 2,000 rather than 10 NPC's who give quests and then 20 other dudes. Imagine Crossroads in The Barrens in World of Warcraft actually looking like a town. Sure, the game would be an actual nag to trek but god damn it would be cool. Hell, raids could hold 200 people. Maybe not all at once. Instead have a system where multiple raids of 10 people gather together and do separate parts of an instance.

I don't know... I think it would be cool to waste my time playing something that huge.

Nope. For whatever reason, I'm delving back in to Bridge Commander with all the mods. Not a lot has been done since I stopped playing, but it still looks pretty spectacular with the NanoFX and ship pack mods.

hey so my Guild Leader in Neverwinter has been plugging the hell out of this new Desktop Client called Evolve. sounds similar to Raptr, but more for PC Gaming than Consoles.

anyone tried it? I'm downloading it now, since he won't shut up about how great it is. hehe.

this thing -> https://www.evolvehq.com/welcome

Neverwinter is fun but flawed.

they got one thing dead right though. the Combat. soooo much fun once you get the hang of it.

if you've ever played TERA, it's similar....but faster-paced and more balanced. it's great.

I'm having a hard time getting back into Guild Wars 2 because of Neverwinter's combat style.

so my two MMOs for the moment are Eve Online and Neverwinter.

I haven't quite gotten into the PVP portion of EVE (which is like 90% of the game), I'm still in the "train my skills, build up my money" stage, and I don't have quite the fleet of ships and money stash that I think I'll need for when I start trying to shoot other people. EVE isn't an "instant gratification" game, crap takes a long time to develop and you play for the long term. I think that was my problem the last time I tried it and didn't stick around. I was trying to get what I wanted instantly, instead of just letting things play out.

Neverwinter is great casual fun, probably the best pure combat out of any MMO i've played recently that wasn't a FPS.

Anyone else have NCAA 14 on PS3? An online dynasty might be fun.

I just hope something comes along to grab me like WoW did back in the day.  So far nothing has really held that spark for me.  Hell, I'd still play regularly if I had a group of people to play with, but most people I know have moved on to other games.

I agree. WoW is a great game. A lot of MMO's have come out over the years saying "wow killer" and all of that but nothing has lived up to it's hype. WoW is just so simple all around. The only thing that is going to get me to go back is the next expansion, though. I'm going to play it for a few weeks/months and then take another long break until the next expansion. I would play it regularly if I had a group of people as well. I would also raid but only if it were one that wasn't such a requirement. It's always a pain in the ass to dedicate so much time to that crap.

I bought Mists of Pandaria, played it for about a day. It didn't grab my attention like the other expansions, felt like i was playing a totally different game.

It took me awhile to get into MoP. What really helped was the idea of progressing my warlock. I was killing a lot of people at 85 so I just wanted to continue. The first leveling zone was just so crowded and annoying. That put me off for awhile.
