Bob thought that was going to carry out.

Yes is THE worst announcer at calling HRs. I don't bother with his reaction. I just watch the outfielder.

When did Harp last hit one out?  Seems forever.

It's been a couple of weeks. Against the braves.

It's spider's fault.

  I get ripped for being negative but when I'm positive I get blamed for the Nats inability to bring it home.  :smh:

He's gotten better this year.  Still not fully confident in his judgement but hedging his calls big time.

I've noticed that too. Especially after what happened back in May on the Desmond fly out.

He missed one very badly early in the season, like really bad and I think acknowledged it in the Post comment section.  the change happened somewhere around then.

I think spider said one time "with a cigarette and a blindfold".

Second time today you've confused me with Spidey...

...and I still want a pony...

Bob reads the forums - MLB board for sure since he has a thread going there, and almost certainly this one too.  He's not oblivious to the criticisms.

I rip him as much as anyone but even I didn't feel he needed to apologize for that. He made a mistake but I didn't think it was a big deal.

I can only imagine you posting in that thread though.     :smh:

Okay let's please score our go-ahead run (hopefully several) NOW before Murphy leads off next inning...thank goodness he at least won't be coming up with one or more ducks on the pond.
