Werth would be a perfect usher for the President's club.

"Put that #$#$ing phone down and watch the game."

"Where the hell are you going? Bathroom breaks are for wusses."

"(Too players wives) Hey, how you doing?"

Werth would be perfect for the role.

He really should take one for the team when the Dodgers are here.  It's not like those are uncharted waters

He had a couple of chances to go out with a bang but went out with a whimper.

He crashed and burned in that outfield tonight.

Yep.  His game five will probably overshadow the rest of his legacy.

Werth should be hog-tied and have every single hair on his entire body shaved off, while in a car going 105 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Is that PA his last as a MLB player? Who would he sign with? Why would they sign him?

I think he's done. We all knew when he signed the deal that the back end of it, as is the case with most long-term deals, would be painful. That sure proved true.

He’ll come off the bench somewhere for a million bucks. But if I’m him I probably retire.

The cruel irony is that, as far as such back-ends of long-term contracts go, this one was pretty okay until this postseason.  If he had just not sucked so much in this series...

It was actually okay until the injury. He was having a good season, but it’s hard for an old man to catch up coming back so late.

True. It's almost as if he was making up for lost time.

Howie Kendrick was having a better season though..

At the point of injury, I think they were pretty comparable. Howie really turned it on after the trade.

True. Its all a would have should have could have now, but after doing so much for us after the trade, seems such a waste to not even try playing Kendrick during the series..

Agreed. It’s really hard to bench a veteran star though. The Dodgers are lucky theirs is too hurt to play in a way.

Not like Kendrick is a gold glove speedster in LF, but it was plain for everyone to see that Werth was running with 2 lead feet and his bat shouldnt have kept him in past game 2

Jason Werth was great for us over many seasons.  But not this season and certainly not in left field.
