If they don't score here the Dodgers will win it in the 10th with the meat of their order up.

This reminds me of the end of Frank Robinson's days here. He was freaking games up at a rapid pace by blowing pretty much every single move. Davey can't do anything right lately.

No, this isn't like Robinson at all, Frank managed every single game like it was an elimination game.  Not a wise strategy over 162 games but I sure liked it.  Davey manages as though each game is just one in a long season, always thinking ahead even if it means conceding the current game.

Ateast Miami lost tonight too.
After this loss, we will only be 4 games ahead of the Mets for 3rd place. And we have 4 games with them next weekend. So sad.

Easy one hopper to Tracy and he couldn't make the play.

Guess that's another Zim throwing error?

we're saving our arms for a 20 game winning streak to end the year tbh.

Craig Stammen's ERA through his first 22 games: 2.70. His ERA over his last 10 games: 9.00.

But Davey isn't at all cognizant of this.

This game is once again on the offense. Glad we acquired Scott Hairston to strike out in key situations. Twice all he had to do was hit a fly ball and he strikes out both times.

He was acquired to hit LHP. Nothing else.

2-6 against LHP.
0-2 against RHP.

Hey, we ended our very worst season (at home at least) with a walk-off slam.  Better late than never.

we're saving our arms for a 20 game winning streak to end the year tbh.

Yep. And those two ABs vs RHP have been in huge spots late in games. Terrible misuse by Davey.

Davey doesn't fully grasp this concept.

Stammen's 1.42 WHIP is disgusting. Worse than Storen's.
