I'm sure we'll win a series where we face Harvey-Gee-Wheeler and don't pitch Zimmermann or Strasburg!!! And probably without Bryce. If we score five runs total this weekend, I'll be stunned.
Glad you're on board!

Ah well.  We won the series against a really good team.  Would have liked the sweep but sometimes they just have freakish defense.
I was at the game.  We made some good defensive plays, but they made more than we did.  That bunt by Gregorius was perfectly placed, and the strategy caught some of the players and some fans in amy section of the stands off guard.   Even if the Nats infield had expected it, the best they would have done was to throw Gregorius out at first.  The runner on third was scoring.  (It's too bad that my son's friend had to see the home team lose at his first Major League Baseball game).

five more feet on Zimm's shot in the 10th and this would have been the greatest win since Game 4.

The crowd was into it.  Not drooling like Pavlov's dog when the jumbotron went 'ding', but into every pitch and every call.  Pretty cool.

Sucks to lose, but a good baseball game to attend.

The way this season has gone, that's really not a stretch...

Mystics lost yesterday (a controversial disallowing of a late three-pointer contributed to that) as well...just a bad day all round for the local sides.

But the Wizards drafted Georgetown F Otto Porter so the day wasn't completely lost :D

That does have promise (in fact they showed the selection on the jumbotron during a break in the Mystics match and it was widely applauded).

It seemed to me that Arizona pushed more on the bases. Their bunts were exactly right. FP mentioned that a squeeze bunt would be a risky play...just before Arizona bunted for the winning run. Just before, Span led off with a single and should have tried to steal on the first pitch. He's fast. Instead, he never got beyond first.

(I don't like station-to-station, wait and wait for the big hit.)

Missed the game, looks like another Strasburg gem wasted due to no run support. Corbin is a stud though.

Oh well, took 2/3. On to New York...
