great leadoff hitter.  doesn't even have the wheels to leg out a perfect bunt

Span bunting with 2 outs and no one on base. Makes no freaking sense. He deserved to be out there on a great play from Kendrick.

When you're in a slump, bunting is a way out.

Span is 1 for his last 30 or so.  and it was an infield single.  Rizzo has assembled an epic fail.

At least we probably won't have to balance watching the Redskins and Nats playoff games this year. #SSS

Odd, but I am abeginning to like the opposing broadcasters better than Bob and FP. At least there is no "whoof whoof"...just quiet description.

The Nats offense will take off when Espinosa rejoins the lineup.

Seems like a nice guy but man just not a very impactful hitter at all. Total mediocrity. He's basically a slightly upgraded Lombardozzi offensively.

fantastic play by Rendon to get Revere. I'd take Revere over Span any day of the week. Great bunter, great speed, puts ball into play.

I'd rather have neither but if I had a choice it'd be Revere. 4 years younger too.

About to turn the game on, guessing we're losing and haven't gotten a hit yet.

Rendon to left, harper to center?

I have a couple things on my plate right now so I may have to step away from the forum for a bit.

I hear ya.   I've been laid off since October.   I need a vacation.

Zim is ass backwards. Taking pitches down the middle he should be crushing and chasing pitchers' pitches off the plate.

LaRoche swings at ball 4 on his hands.

1 measly single in 4 innings vs run of the mill average pitcher Kyle Kendrick.

More like watching a pee stain dry because it's completely embarassing.
