But he did go on to say the loss was on him.
Had to laugh at ALR's remarks postgame yesterday...talking about other fellas having issues like he's been tearing it up all year...

Kobernus sucks. DFA. Game. Season. Career. Franchise.

Jesus, Kobernus uses an ash bat.

A true bat!

You can tell who hasn't been with the big league club for very long

Kobernus: 7 pitches
Lombo: 2 pitches
Zim: 1 pitch

Zimmerman is 16th among 3B with 0.2 fWAR. Kinda horrible.

Obiwan in CF, Lombo in LF. Need Rendon in RF for the symmetry.

I looked up Kobernus's hitting this season: before today, he had three (3) (tres) (one more than two and one less than four) major league at-bats.

Gazook!

I'm not being contrary with you, but it seems like if they aren't taking too many pitches, they're just looking. I don't get the part of the game.

Jordan must lead the league or be close to it in breaking batters' bats.

Dunno...I think they call it "Kids Run the Park Day".

They did it when we were there on May 26th as well...

there are good ways to work the count and take pitches and bad ways.  If you are averaging 4 pitches an AB because you are fouling off one pitch or seeing one ball before a K, then that is ineffective.  If you are having a 7 pitch at bat and K'ng rather than popping out on the first pitch, I'd rather have the K, at least early in a game.

Hicks did not have a bad K there.

In Washington, the number 4 hitter is actually just your second leadoff guy
