17 pitches in 2 innings :lmao:

Going pretty much exactly as we expected. None of these guys are hitting or are even showing signs of breaking out.

This team looks criminally ill-prepared every single game.

"Chief agent for propaganda of the SSS here to remind you it's only May 19th! Haven't you guys ever followed baseball! There are 162 games and we're only 1/4 into the season!"

Oh, you're so cynical.   :)

Rendon continues to mash in AA.

1/2 with a Triple, 2 RBIs, 1 Run, 1 Walk today. Batting .353

Wow.   I know what they're waiting for. It's not enough that his average and OBP are under the Mendoza line. They need to see his slugging dip under it too before they bench his ass.

Honestly I enjoyed watching this team more from 2008-2010 than this squad. Those teams actually battled sometimes even though they were terrible, and they also had at least a little excitement. This is the most boring team in baseball when Harper isn't playing and even when he's in there it's not that enjoyable.

We have a former wide receiver as pitcher,  but theirs gets an infield hit

6' 6" pitcher Andrew Cashner lays down a perfect bunt for a base hit :lmao: :lmao:

Makes me sick. freaking Lombo, Span, Bernadina can't do that.

Maybe if he started hitting below .200 it might catch Davey and Rizzo's eye.

Yep. Him and Morse were the most fun players to watch last year.

Unreal. I kind of agree with Rizzo that we don't really have any better options at 2B but then again this is Rizzo's fault. He seems willing to sink or swim with Danny for the rest of the season. Kind of frightening that it could be August and he's still batting sub .200 and nothing any better.

Rizzo is wrong about having no alternatives to replace Espinosa.  It's just that he refuses to use those alternatives.

It's clear as day to almost everyone that Espinosa is never going to be any good.  The only people that refuse to accept that are those who make the decisions.

SSS doctrine starting to seep into SF's thinking.

He may find a way to strike out on two pitches this year.
