The objective of this day is to have no dirty dishes. It is not intended to pile them up until tomorrow.  Two ways to avoid dirty dishes today:

    1. Use disposable plates, cups and silverware for all meals and snacks.
    2. Send out for food or go out to eat all three meals.

The 3rd Saturday in May is also:

Origin: Each branch of the military had their own day of celebration. On August 31, 1949 then Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson announced the creation of Armed Forces Day. President Harry Truman also announced it and all branches of the military were asked to celebrate on May 20, 1950.

Baseball Press finally posted their lineups, with the left-right:

1. Everth Cabrera (S) SS
2. Will Venable (L) RF
3. Chase Headley (S) 3B
4. Yonder Alonso (L) 1B
5. Mark Kotsay (L) LF
6. Jedd Gyorko (R) 2B
7. Chris Denorfia (R) CF
8. John Baker (L) C
9. Eric Stults (L) P

Why doesn't Davey bat Espinosa or Lombo 8th instead of Suzuki?   :spaz:

Espinosa is batting righty and facing a guy who pitches to contact. I'm expecting a big game from him.

MeTv shows Batman Sat. at 7pm-8pm

Originally, Batman aired two days a week ... Wednesday and Thursday.

There was always a cliffhanger at the end of Wednesday's night episode.

FP: "Blood on the knee."

And, of course, the Messiah should just keep on playing the same way. . . .

Does anyone know why a team wants to start a game at 5:40 local time?

I think our AA lineup is better than this one.
