Odd. Another fastball, this time missing inside for ball 4. Surprised they didn't throw a 3-2 curve or slider.

Now a hit here and you are freaked, game over.

Our pitchers lose these battles, almost always.

We're going to need a long inning to give Zimmermann a break after this.

Rendon can't field any better than Zimm

Long inning for JZ. A shame because he was rolling thru 3.

Another sloppy fielding play. Been that kinda season.

The ball was there for him to field. Rendon has to catch that.

Yes, but he also would have thrown the ball in to the dugout already.

Not a great throw by Ian, didn't have to throw it that hard and he got on top of it. Zim probably would have held on to that though.

With Espinosa leading off you can forget about that.

Avoided disaster now get the freak out there and swing the bats for some production! Support the pitcher!

Only 1 run, not a huge deal.

What hurts more is JZ throwing 30 pitches. Solo homers wont kill you but walks will.

Hopefully he'll foul off some pitches and work the count for an 8 pitch K. They need to step off and ask for time to prolong this at bat.
