He didn't really improve in AAA. .178/.264/.356 in 53 PAs.

But no one left to call up that's better. Marrero will probably go back down when they call up Jordan in a few days.

Moore getting called up to me just means that Werth is headed back to the DL

Probably, and def won't be available short term, I'm guessing. Groin pulls linger.

That was YEARS ago, when he was a teenager...and it was sexual assault.

Davey says Zimmerman is fine, even though he's taking anti-inflammation for his shoulder. He wanted to stack two days off for him.

Zimmerman's shoulder is acting up again

1. Time for cortisone
2. Time for him to move to first :(

Davey also said he'll be back in the lineup tomorrow.

Magic pain pills from Navy Corpsman. No matter what ails you, Motrin is the cure. Got an STD? Motrin. Pulled a hammy? Motrin. Just had your leg blown off by an IED? Change your socks, drink water, take Motrin.

Why the long face? I've been waiting for his shoulder to act up all season. Now he has his excuse to take a cortisone injection and start playing at an MVP level for the rest of season like last year.

I really liked watching 2009 and 2010 Ryan Zimmerman play defense at third. It was fun to watch guys think they had a base hit and then be surprised when the throw hit the first baseman's glove.

To me, his extension really isn't worth it if he has to move to first base before he's 30.

.350 wOBA would be tied with Adrian Gonzalez for 10th among all first basemen in baseball.  Would be 5th in the NL.  Contract would still be worth it.

No doubt. Zimmerman was my favorite player in baseball by far when he came up. His sudden defensive decline has been very depressing for me.

Davey hopeful Wilson Ramos could be back from DL around July 4. Currently in Viera catching and hitting.

Great news.
