How do you manage to pat yourself in the back while crushing down a 30 pack of sliders?

I sincerely hope you are 14 years old because that's the maturity level of that response. That's pathetic even for you.

He would have single handedly won the game for us tonight if we hadn't lost.

With 8 throwing errors so far this season, Zimmm is on pace to break the record of 18 (only tracked as far back as 2002).

The scary thing is that the rest of the team has 16 throwing errors, so even if we take our worst arm out of the equation, we'd still be near the bottom of the league.

Added a counter, ten more throwing errors to go to set the record.  Considering that he's missed games, he's on pace to nearly double the previous record.

Came across this article through the google. Found it pretty interesting.  Anyone with some expertise on the defensive metrics have any comments on it?  The 102 OOZ plays in 09 compared to OOZ plays in 2010 on seems incredible.  But, is it possible this has something to do with Desmond taking over at SS in 2010 and playing better defense then Guzman?

I wish we'd get rid of LaRoche and trade for [Fictional Second Baseman] so Rendon can move to third or even better sign [Fictional Third Baseman].

I wish we would trade LaRoche so we can sign Ben Zoberist, so we can move Rendon to third and move Zimmerman to first. Happy?

Zobrist, one of my favorite players, isn't going anywhere soon.  Myers takes over right, Zobrist is back at 2d.  zobrist has $7Mm and $7.5Mm options for the next two seasons.  He's put up 24+ WAR from 2009 - 2012.  While he has started slower this year, and the move to the OF cost him a win on position adjustment, he is still dirt cheap.

Fine. Replace him with Robinson Cano. We'll be the East coast version of the Angels.

you know, Cano is good enough I don't care about the bidding war.  Make him a $30MM player.

Dont' disagree, and it probably should have been ruled a hit.
