Haven't read through the thread yet, but I think Zimmerman needs to get closer in the batter's box.

He doesn't need to be all up on the umpire on the catcher, but he stands so far off, and all their pitchers made it a point to paint the outside and we're getting the calls, and made Zim pretty ineffective. Luckily he reached just far enough to poke one opposite field, but I think that's closer to the exception than the norm if that trend continues.

I should've gone to the Nats instead of to the Wizards' penultimate home match last night - even without LeBron, Wade et al we still lost. Longer-than-usual trip home too, for some reason.

My only real issue with this game was the 11 strike outs the Nats had.
