How the hell did the Steelers lose to that abysmal performance by Pryor today?

Did anyone see the stat about how 50 of the 53 players on the Packers roster have played only for the Packers?   That's a homegrown team. That probably hasn't happened in decades.

Hell yea and it has been that way a long time.  I used to hate the fact that they rarely signed free agents but it has worked really well and it is hard to argue with results.

Beating the Vikings and Barkleys means jack crap.

thats not the point though.

we're 2-6 and playing horrible football....but we're still right in the division title hunt.

the NFC East is horrible this year. :(

:lmao:

Bryant made a big play yesterday but it burns me to see players put up tantrums on the sidelines and head coaches let them get away with it. The reason they continue to do crap like that is because head coaches and others in leadership don't put them in their place. The head coach should've told him to get the freak off the field and take his whine to the locker room. To his credit Witten got in his face and told him to go away and leave but if the main authority on the team doesn't step up and take care of it the issue will fester.

Some have suggested the reason he put up that tantrum is because Calvin Johnson was killing it on the other side and he was angry that he wasn't able to keep up the pace given that he had talked all that crap about being the better receiver coming into the game. That's Keyshawn Johnson all over again.

In other words, Romo didn't give him the ball the entire time, so he looked like a nag. Of course, if he had gotten open . . .

So true Spider.  Remember when Harbaugh sent Vernon Davis out of a game.  Davis went and pouted on the bench.  Harbaugh followed him over there and told him he wasn't even allowed on the field and made him watch the game from the locker room?  That is a man that commands respect and the players love playing for.  Davis came out last year and thanked him for the lesson and said he has learned a lot from it.

If he thanked Harbaugh for that then he thanked the wrong person.

It was Singletary... but you're right, it was a big moment in his career.

Cannon is a pretty good back up.  It's not quite like losing Mayo and Wilfork.  I like Cannon filling in more than if Talib is out for a while or Dennard goes to jail.

I don't see the Chiefs making it out of the AFC playoffs. But if they were to go to the SB and beat SF it would be funny after the niners dropped Smith and after the eagles fired Reid.

I still don't get why teams default to putrid veteran QBs like him as back-ups rather than just giving some kid a chance.  If you have a Brian Griese or Trent Dilfer type, that's one thing, but guys like Clemens are definitely going to suck, so why bother?

But what if the kid played better than Bradford? We must ensure that the backup doesn't make the starter look bad.

Tavon Austin is a scared boy playing in the big league.  Not fielding a punt with 4 seconds left in the half is chicken crap.  He also worried about being hit and shuddered as a seahawk defender came close to hitting him.  Not sure courage can be gained at this point.

St. Louis has been awful at drafting skill players.
