Enjoying this close game and really hope the Nats go on to win their 98th.  I'd like to see Jackson win his 10th game.  Teddy (with an assist from the Philly Fanatic) won the President's Race.  Werth, Zimm and Morse all hitting well.  I'd like The Kid to pinch hit. It's hard to watch such a talent just sitting on the bench.

Why did the ump walk halfway to Jackson to throw a ball?

Reading the summary now. Has Ruf RBI'd or homered every run the Phillies have scored?

This series AND the 3rd game last series in Philadelphia.

I'll never be comfortable going into an Edwin Jackson start.  Most inconsistent pitcher in baseball.  One night he's the GOAT, the next he's awful.

Hence why him dealing today means nothing to me.  He could easily give up six runs in three innings in the postseason, or he could easily strike out twelve in seven innings.  He's that kind of guy.

I'd take him on the playoff roster over DeRosa. Moore had a lot of big hits for us this year.

This club today looks like those Nationals we are used to seeing this season. Lets hope it keeps rolling into the part of the season that matters.

Yes please. Chad can cover 3rd and  Espi is a great SS replacement. And T-Mo is great at first. And can hit well.

If either team opens things up and the game isn't really in doubt in the 8th inning, is there any chance Strasburg would pinch hit?

It would be nice for him to get an opportunity for a standing ovation this season.

Would you rather see Chien-Ming Wang?
