Marco Estrada, who was cast off by the Nats years ago, has been excellent for the Brewers somehow.

He's 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA over his last two starts (13.2 IP 7 H 0 ER 2 BB 10 K).

He has racked up 129 Ks in 126.1 IP with a respectable 3.56 ERA.

The Nats must find a way to get to him.

Jordan Zimmermann needs to put forth another good start to erase the troubles he had in August and early September.

Aramis Ramirez is 6/13 with 3 Doubles and a HR vs Jordan in his career.

Christian Garcia has been dealing with bicep tiredness since Saturday outing. Davey says he's considering using him as a starter next year.

Well there goes Garcia. Injury prone. Starter next year? :lmao: :lmao:

Davey on facing contenders after division is clinched: "I don't give a rat's ass. ... I'm resting my regulars."

Win the division first, Davey.

He's from Curacao.   I hope so.   Of course, Bryce is from Vegas.   We know how that worked out yesterday  ....

Comak:

Michael Morse got some treatment on his hand yesterday. Davey not sure which one is acting up but he's giving him rest regardless.

That was his point.  His emphasis is to win the division and then rest his regulars!

Did Marvin Hudson ever acknowledge that he was wrong on that LaRoche play in Atlanta?
