I grew up in a steel town in Western PA. I can remember my parents refusing to buy anything that was Made in Japan.

3rd place game is on the 4th...Germany vs England/Japan.

Germany/England seems appropriate for the 100th anniversary of The Second Battle of Ypres (because conflating the World Cup and fairly distant history is how we roll)

I think giving Johnston a red for that penalty may have been extreme, but it's pretty clear the contact that led to the US PK was outside the penalty area
