Should the Giolito FTP thread have any type of Giolito news or should it be split into a signing/drafting thread and an FTP thread?

Keep it one thread until he makes the majors

Split it: one thread on drafting and signing (negotiations, the draft decision, and what it says about management) and an FTP thread focusing on scouting reports, player profile, and performance

We are already up to 13 pages on Giolito within a day of his signing.  I think it may be more useful to break apart the thread into a business side (the drafting, the negotiations, and what it says  about the organization) and a performance side (scouting, profiles, results).  I think the concept of the FTP was more to be a resource on the latter, while the business aspects are interesting but kind of separate from him as a prospect.  I'll keep the poll open for 4 days, and will do the work splitting things up if that is the way we come out.

Florida 2000, Ohio 2004, Minnesota Senate 2008, splitting the Giolito thread. . .

What other prospects have had split threads? My reason against doing so.

It's because there is a lot of stuff in the Giolito thread that is going to be irrelevant to his development as a prospect.  there was not nearly that much stuff for Skole, or Goodwin, Meyer, and Purke last year, for example.

Most of stuff there though still had to do with the Giolito situation. I say leave it. Might as well leave everyone's thoughts in one thread. If you split every thread that mentions the teams spending/lack thereof and things relaing to it, this place would be impossible to navigate.

At the risk of making this too complex, maybe if I bolded some of the ones early in the thread that deal with stats and scouting, so that folks looking for that stuff don't get lost.  That, or some other way to flag those for folks looking for performance information.
