I hope their package stores burn down and their rocky statue gets pulled over by a tank.

We call 'em "state stores".   :)

Great game on the NHL channel currently  ...   6-6  Montreal/Pittsburgh with about 7" left.

Five minute power play and I couldn't tell if it was the Caps or the Jets

Another shutout!!!

Holtby reminds me of Edwin Jackson. You can tell early on if he's got the stuff or not. Honesty, I think Oates should have  short hook with hiim.

Just finished watching on DVR as well.  How did I function without DVR?

Watching Vancouver/LA Kings on CBC right now...being HNIC, Don Cherry got to use his bully pulpit to slam the Caps again (this time about Brouwer yucking it up with the enemy during a faceoff).  He seemed like a rather petty nag considering the result of the Caps/Jets game.

What was the reasoning behind moving Ovechikin to RW? Always seems to end up on the left side anyway

He did on that shot.    On a rush, he seems to drift to the left.

He did on that shot.

He always does. He automatically drifts to the LW. Not sure why you'd bother moving him to the right side.

And again, I struggle to determine if the Caps have a PP or are on the kill

Did the sideline guy just say Oates has changed the positions of left and right hand shooters?

I think so. I wasn't paying attention.

When did Backstrom become so ... blah?

And that's what happens when you don't clean up the trash and keep the front of the net clear. Looks like the game is done.

Oh, you can call him Ray or you can call him Jay.   Just don't call him SF882.

I thought about it 'til Frau called us out.    :-[    Though I do admit to switching to NCIS from 8 'til 9 with check-ins on the game during commercials.
