This is the worst offense this team has had since they came to Washington.
With the way they are swinging now, yes. Too many automatic outs, too many strikeouts.

It's a final: Marlins whomp Jays by the forfeit score, 9-nil.

:smh:
The 2005 and 2007 Nationals were DEAD LAST in Runs scored in MLB and near worst in most batting categories.  They were 28th in Runs in 2008 and are currently 27th in 2012.

How is that not a strike?

FP, that side of the plate has been open for strikes for the O's all day

Chris Davis now nil-for-29...sounds like he'd fit in well in the Nats line-up.

He still can't command his fastball. He has struggled with that recently.

His fastball command is very poor. Can't live with just sliders. Not good.

He isn't even close. You can't walk the #9 hitter.

Craig Stammen losing his early-season touch. Has 9 walks in his last 9 innings.

Very abysmal. He did the same thing in Boston.

Stammen needs to go back to Syracuse to work on his stuff.  He hasn't looked good in a while.

Stammen  shouldn't have been allowed to pitch to Hardy.  This is where we lose the game.
