Did anyone listen/watching Game 1 of the Braves series hear anyone mention why he wasn't starting?

He was probably doing the Charity Work and African-American Community Outreach that he was acquired for.

((sorry.  inside joke)).

According the Nats site, Frank said he wanted to rotate his outfield, "to keep them fresh" But with Frank, his experiments can die as quickly as he starts em up. Also, I think Bowden will tell him that he didn't work for months trying to get Wilson to sit him on the bench...

The team has taken on the fatigued and uninspired look of its manager.  Old school is done.  Bowden should be bold and fire FR's A$$ and replace him with Bob Boone.  Better yet, give the job to Barry Larkin.  It's not too late!

I would very much appreciate that you quote the RIGHT PERSON... I in NO WAY, want Boone managing, now or EVER...

I'd rather SUFFER through Frank's ineptitude...

[ replace him with Bob Boone.

HELL no.

Boone is worse than Frank is.

I won't cry if they Fire Frank, but I'll scream bloody murder if Boone turns out to be his replacement.

You know what I just thought?  Didn't we just have a day off on Monday?  This makes no sense.

The only way this works is if we were showcasing someone for a trade.

I don't really see a conspiracy against Preston.  He just wanted lefties Church and Wilkerson to bat against the right handed Smoltz.

Wilkerson had a solid game, but Church did nothing, so it will be interesting to see if Preston starts for Church tonight.

Wonder when Jamey will get his next start, too.

Why is everybody talking about Wilkerson getting traded? If it wasnt for him, the game would've been over earlier (his home-run robbing catch, anyone?)

Seriously, give the guy a break!!!!

My thoughts too, was it Wilkerson in his natural position? (only in my dreams) or Church...

Do you seriously think Wilkerson is the only Nats outfielder capable of making that catch?

Why, just because he's played one good game a week since late April we should be gentle with him? NO... His dead bat is one of the reasons the Nats aren't scoring runs... No way, I will leave him alone, I don't shive a git which bank he makes commercials for....
