Zim is doing ten times worse than Werth did at any point last season.
The point was that there isn't really a "break" in scheduling. Because there are two more NL teams the schedule has to have some imbalance when it comes to interleague games and they offset the imbalance by rotating the teams that play fewer interleague games.
All I'm sayin' is the Phillies have earned their "breaks" whether intentional or abstract (like a game call, etc.).

It already happened last season. Aside from baltimore we only played the white sox, the angels and the mariners and got extra games against the diamondbacks and pirates. It rotates every season.

That's a bit much considering the starting rotation he's assembled. I'd give him a week or two of unpaid leave to think about his failures and focus on how he can commit himself to righting this ship.
