I know we'll never keep them both, but I'd give Harper and Strasburg 20 year contracts right now.

let's not start this argument again

Lorb is such a jackass. He tweeted that Youkilis had an argument because it was low. I asked him what the hell he was looking at and that multiple pitch tracks indicated it was a strike. Here is his response.

William Ladson ‏@washingnats
@AllanDucker I don't care what the pitch track said. It was a ball.
Why are they misspelling his name?  Everyone knows it's "Lodsan."

Wouldn't be Lorb without a misspelling! ;)

Is Marlon Byrd the designated Nats opponent?

Yea, I'm pretty sure he's getting traded to the Yankees in time for that series.

I still remember that game as if it was yesterday.

From the crazy metro ride to the park... to the loudest sound I've ever heard a crowd make after that 14th K.

What a night.

On a fluke I had redeemed RCR tickets for that game in the home plate reserve about a month before they announced the Stras debut, so we had killer seats.
The best part of the night for me was the fact that I took a Pittsburgh native and Pirates fan to the game. I've taken him to a Pirates game every year since 2005 as an annual thing. He had hopes the kid would implode, but by the 4th inning he was just hoping he'd stop K'ing people. Then in the 5th and 6th he said, "Wow, this kid is impressive." And in the 7th he was standing and applauding Stras and his effort. After that game he said "I honestly don't know how I can repay you for these tickets this year. You invited me to a true event."

FP: something about "Crashing" into the suites.

That was idiotic thing to say.

If they don't want the riff raff into their precious suites then don't sell 'em.

I'm jealous as hell.    Nice Friday night in NE.   Fenway  ....   Stras and a 5 run lead.    Brother that's as good as it gets.    Inhale it  ...   You stayin' for the weekend?
