this.. your best relief pitcher should be out there in the 9th, baseball is too quick to limit guys with tags like set up, closer, 7th inning guy.

all these crappy stats like saves, holds etc mean freak all, just put your best guy on the mound

Agree!

Great defense tonight, just outstanding.  Strong performance from Gio.  And poised relief from Stammen and Burnett.

A well earned  :w:

Just saying that H-Rod is scaring the crap out of everyone (his exact words were "to death") and that Davey has to be accountable for all 25 men on the roster.

He's terrible and needs to either be the guy that gets to pitch when the team is +/- 15 runs or put on waivers. He's not really blocking anyone but if he's on the 25 man I'm worried.

That's just it. There's no arguing her attractiveness.

There was discussion about Debbie because there were some that loved her and others, not so much.

I thought Debbi asked some of tghe most brainless questions ever. Akra seems quicker. Debbi looked dazed ("what should I ask next? I already asked if it's good to hit a home run....")

No joke - as soon as Burnett went to 2-0 all the power in my entire village went out.  It's kinda creepy 'cause the lights are out all over the place and my only light source is the BlackBerry I'm typing on.

And how do I spend my precious moments of battery life?  Checking in to see if Burnett sealed the deal!

And now the alarm sirens are sounding.  Something serious is happening...

"It's just a game", but that one had my heart racing. Felt like the Nats slipped inside the dragon's jaws and snatched some food and slid away while the dragon was snapping. (see "Empire Strikes Back", Millenium Falcon between the closing teeth)

Keep us posted. If it is a monster attack, please let us know. The dog and I will have to arm ourselves.
