Strike three that bounced, he swung at and went wildly bouncing off towards the O's dugout. Instead of running, he decided to argue that he made contact with the ball (replay showed he didn't)... finally the catcher tracked down the ball and tagged him out at home.
Thanks. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't see it. Things like that drive me crazy. I have seen this sort of thing, maybe a handful of times in my life, when a player stops to argue rather than playing out the play, and without exception the player has been a moron. A good example: Milton Bradley. I have never been impressed by Desmond's intelligence (listening to him being interviewed) and based on this, I'm ready to put him in the moron category.
