3 blown saves in the last 15 days. 2 in the last 5 days. He can't be the closer after tonight. Those 3 losses could easily mean the difference between making the playoffs or not.

With the next two games likely to get rained out (almost certainly with tomorrow at least), this is a really crushing loss. Now we have to let it stir for maybe 2 or 3 days rather than get back out there and turn things back around.
