When I was in high school I learned "lay off the high stuff. It looks good out of the hand but is out of the zone." then, when I couldn't lay off of the high stuff I learned "if you've swung at two high balls and have 2 strikes on you and less than 2 balls, and the next pitch looks high, LAY OFF OF THE EFFING HIGH STUFF OR THE REST OF YOUR TEAM WILL HATE YOU FOR CONTSANTY STRIKING OUT. SO LAY OFF THE DAMN HIGH STUFF OR RIDE THE PINE."
