On Mid Atlantic Sports Report today Mel Antonen was raving about how good Harper looks so far and---the Baltimore knives came out. The two Ballmer boys were yelling ' Oh yeah he's Babe Ruth, how about Mantle."--I paraphrase but this was the attitude. Turned it off, might as well have McPoop on the show.

Anything that's not a live sporting event on either of the MASN channels is total garbage.  The MASN Sports Report is really, really awful.  They should be horsewhipped for airing something that crappy.

it's awful.  Mel just slobers over the O's, even when they are talking about the Nats awesome pitching staff.

They said Zimmerman isn't Brooks Robinson and never will be.  All this crap.

That's really too bad.  I miss him making calls all over the field despite him having perhaps the worst perspective out of anyone on his crew.

They said Zimmerman isn't Brooks Robinson and never will be.  All this crap.

If Zimmerman could just stay healthy this statement would be all too true because, at the plate, Zimmerman is a far superior player than Brooks Robinson ever hoped to be. You can't take anything away from Robinson's defensive prowess but even in that department Zimmerman doesn't exactly take a backseat to ANYONE who has ever played the hot corner. Even if you argue that Robinson has a slight edge defensively over Zimmerman (and the edge would have to be razor thin), Zimmerman's offensive superiority over Robinson more than offsets the questionable edge. But some people get caught up in the nostalgia of certain players. Plus, their legend grows with each passing season. The thing I hate about this is that it makes it seem as if I'm crapting on Brooks Robinson. And that just isn't the case. I have great respect for Brooks Robinson.

Yeah this will be the big Phillies night I bet.

Stras and Harper will be booed out the stadium. Only fueling their dominance.

Got my dog back from the vet today.  Thought she had been bitten by a snake(hind leg balloned up) and vet had to keep her overnight.  Turns out that it was not a snake but most likely a spider(maybe Black Widow) that bit her three times.  Using WNFF logic I've place spidernat on ignore.

In this area, there aren't lethal snakes. Black widows, now that is scary . . .

Please tell me they aren't going this hard with Natitude.

Natitude Park? Are they serious?
