Bryce for Prez
Too young. Minimum age, I think, is 35...just about when Harper will think about retirement.
In all, I have seen better ball-players...saw Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle, live, beating the old Nats...but no player who was as much fun to watch. Maybe Derek Jeter.
And I believe that Harper will only get better. Running the bases...how many singles did he turn into doubles? I saw Harper steal a base, and important steal, when Davey let him rest a game to heal a pulled muscle. Then scored an important run in the game that turned around the Atlanta series (the 9 - 0 beginning that the Nats eventually lost).
Harper's base-running seemed to pressure the other teams into mistakes. ("here's Harper...have to make a perfect play", and Bam, the fielder throws the ball away)
