He wanted to go by Giancarlo but never said anything about it until now.  Kind of like Mike Morse becoming Michael Morse last year.

that was a hell of a pitch by Ross. Maybe they are building up his trade value?  He may be a better starter than Lannan at this point.

I think Davey Johnson has a more unique plan for a long reliever.  He may be used as a substitute starter, so Davey wants to see him actually do that. 

I like the idea.  If someone bombs in the 1st inning, get him OUT! Win the game.
