Tonight's loss to the Phillies just got worse, two hours after it ended.
I watched the end of the Rangers-Angels game, the Angels scored 3 runs in the top of the 10th to take the lead, 10-7. First batter comes up in the bottom of the 10th, Nelson Cruz (who's not having a particularly good season) hits a bomb. 10-8 Angels. The Rangers proceed to load the bases, scoring another run in the process, with NO outs. It's 10-9 before the first out is recorded. They proceed to get a hit down the left field line and win the game 11-10. They loaded the bases, kept them loaded, scored 4 runs, all with zero or one out.
We were down by one run in the bottom of the 9th and couldn't even get a runner on base.
It's not like the Rangers are playing great baseball either. They had lost the first two games of this series.
