Tebow time!!!

Oh and I want to take this moment to  thank Russel Wilson and his 4 TDs for sending me to the second round of my playoffs?

Wilson > Rodgers this year.

We saw history a minute ago. Cumberland is the first player to ever catch a touchdown pass right next to a river with the same name as him.

Uh ... it's called the Anacostia river

And I'd like to thank Mark Sanchez for pushing me to the next round of my playoffs. I started the Titans defense :D

FEDEX is some distance from the Anacostia.   Now RFK  ....  I can smell it now.   Oh wait, that's the men's room.

I predict Tebow will be signed by another team next season and will have some success. Which only means we have to put up with all that bullcrap about Tebow mania all over again.  :hang:

He's going to need a team with a great defense and a good O line that's willing to just run the ball all day. Just quickly looking at football outsiders defensive rankings, the top defenses are on teams with better qb options - Chicago, San Fran, Denver, Seattle, Houston. Maybe the Cards would be a fit, but Fitzgerald would probably eat a bullet if that happened

I'm totally biased but me either.   He reminds me of Vinny Testaverde.     All that on paper and not crap on the field in critical situations  ...  against quality opponents.    Keeriste, he couldn't even start at Pitt.

Count how many Branch's there are in the anacostia watershed.
I count 5.Northeast, Northwest, Paint, Little Paint, and Watts.

That's not it's name though. Branch is simply a geographic characteristic. Like cliff, finger, valley, pond, etc.

In that case, Cliff Branch scored a TD at RFK in 1983 so it's all moot.

ESPN reporting the Jets will try and trade Sanchez and will cut Tebow after the season.

It looks like they may be stuck with Sanchez though.  He has a guarantee for $8.25 million next year, so it will be difficult to trade him.  If the Jets cut him, they take a $17.1 million cap hit over two years.  If they trade him, they take an $8.9 million hit.

Calvin Johnson is going to get to 2000 receiving yards. He only needs 108 in the final game to get there.

He's such an amazing player. Comes off as a really good person too. Congrats to him. Wonder what the chances are of him making a legit run at more Rice's records. His health will play a huge role, but he's got the skills and desire for it, it would seem.

He'd have to play another 12 years to approach the receptions record. WR's are more protected now but I don't see that happening. At some point he will likely become a possession receiver so I doubt he threatens the yards record.
