A guaranteed contract means he'll be alright, if he's truly healthy he'll start for someone next year, it's not like he has long term ties to the Nats.

For sure. These guys are used to trade rumors and a very shaky job situation. Especially a guy like LaRoche who's been shipped out a couple of times or so.

My source with the Redskins told me I should stop talking to him and focus on getting sources with professional sports teams in DC instead.

At what point is it safe to say that a deal isn't going to be announced tonight so that I can call it a day? Hopefully if anything happens it will be before the Wizards finish upsetting the Celts.
