Loverra just discussed his column on AM980, he still says that people within the Nationals organization tell him there's been discussion of moving Zimmerman to 1B.

Something just occurred to me.  What if Werth had come in and hit like gangbusters last year..... .300/.400/.500 and 40 homeruns... would "our budget" be able to afford two players making $40 million then?  If so why?  If not why not?

Or is "our budget" just incapable of supporting two $20 million players, period?

Rendon should play a game or two of professional baseball before anything is considered about moving anybody or kicking anybody to the curb.

Right now, there is more evidence that Rendon's a bust than that he's Zimmerman's or anybody else's replacement.

He once said something that was so completely wrong, that pretty much turned my opinion of him.  Unfortunately,  I can't remember what he said or even what sport/team it was about.   :-[

I mean, moving him to 2B is better than 1B. But in my opinion, Zimm should never be moved ever never.
