Them saying that is equivalent to us saying we're going with LaRoche at 1B.

I actually think the M's might only have that much to spend.  Probably more, but not 25M for Prince.

If I had to put money on it, I'd say Boras has an offer in hand, but wants to wait to see what happens with Yu

@jcrasnick
Two agents say the #Mariners are claiming they only have $3-4 million left to spend on the roster this winter.

@jcrasnick
According to one of those agents, Prince Fielder-to-Seattle speculation is "extremely overblown.'' #Mariners

Didn't Nintendo Corp. just take a huge bath on the Wii?  They are discontinuing (or have discontinued) the console and games for it.  Nintendo is getting killed in the gaming market.  The DS is the only thing keeping them afloat - that and the rights to Mario Bros.

What can I say?  I have three kids who are all into Nintendo games.

Yea, Nintendo is hurting, but the owner of the M's is the former president of Nintendo.  As far as I know, the M's operated at a loss last year so the pockets are probably extra tight.
