Maybe he's not dead in STL afterall. ESPN says the final STL offer was for 9 years at less than $200 million, making him the 4th highest paid 1B. The two sides were never close. If that's the case, STL fans are going to blame management, not Pujols.

MLB radio said Wilson is begging to be signed by Angels for less than what he was asking so he can play in Californiaand and with that roster.
