Jim Riggleman will manage again next season, just not in the major leagues. In his first on-field position since he suddenly resigned as Nationals manager last June, Riggleman will return to the dugout in 2012 to manage the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Class AA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, a person close to the situation said.
Multi year deal I take it.
Job security is a beautiful thing
I wonder what Riggleman would do if he had a million dollars.(Image removed from quote.)
Good for Jim. He'll be managing a MLB squad in no time. He totally freaked the team by quitting when he did but I still give him props for not being scared like the rest of us slaves-to-the-grind.
do pitchers bat in that league? if not, how will he live without the double-switch?
Riggleman is going to be managing nothing but his DVR.
Blue Wahoos? Are they anything like the Blue Meanies?
That's about as high in organised ball as he can be expected to be getting managerial stints from here on in - after that hissy-fit he threw last season his MLB managing career is finished.
