I listened to Charlie and Dave on a drive to Philly. Sorry to see the season end. Looking forward to my first Spring Training trip in March.

Since I don't have Caps, United or Redskins season tickets anymore* and since the NBA labour situation is looking light-years from resolution, Nats Opening Day 2012 could well be my next live sporting event, unless I decide to go to one of the remaining United home matches in October. I haven't gone this long without live sports since (I think) the 1980's.

But that'll just make being back in TBSITH on 12th April that bit sweeter.




*the reasons being too pricey (amid federal pay freeze), possible out-of-town move (let someone else finance their 'feasibility studies') and logistics respectively

AM-1500 is still running a season wrap-up (more or less 'fill' programming till they hand off to the Predators-Caps pre-season match).

(and I sure wish that Miami team had scheduled this game for 7pm...had to work. Missed a rookie pitcher throw six innings of shutout, with 10 Ks. Likely pretty good next year, eh?)
